Please welcome our newest veterinarian, Dr. Kaija Platacis, DVM!  You can call her Dr. P for short!


Due to the increased volume of confirmed dogs with Leptospirosis, we are now recommending a Leptospirosis vaccine for all dogs with their yearly vaccines.  If your dog has not yet had this vaccine, please contact us to schedule an appointment.
 
RABIES ALERT:
Rabies is in the area! 
Multiple bats in several Indiana counties have tested positive for the Rabies virus.  Exposure to these bats has resulted in the need for the rabies prophylactic vaccine series in humans.
Please be careful and don't touch bats!
Also, make sure all of your pets are up to date on their rabies vaccine.

HEARTWORM ALERT:
Due to manufacturing problems the availability of the Immiticide, the drug used to treat dogs with heartworms, is in a very short supply.  It is more important than ever to make sure that your canine friends get their monthly heartworm preventative!
